We strive to create cakes that exceed your expectations. However, refunds that are requested due to dissatisfaction of design, color shade or general decoration will not be honored. If you are dissatisfied with the flavor or quality of your cake and request a refund, this will be assessed at the discretion of Sevim Cakes.

Allergies







Sevim Cakes accepts no responsibility if a cake is damaged after it has been handed over to the client or a designated person, or, after the completion of delivery to the clients' address or event space. 











 


Delivery/Pick-Up/Set Up






It is the responsibility of the client to inform Sevim Cakes prior to the confirmation of their booking, of any allergy / intolerance issues.  It is the responsibility of the client to inform their guests of all allergy / intolerance information. Sevim Cakes is not liable for any allergic reaction resulting from consumption or exposure of the cake. This may include, but without limitation, nuts, nut products, alcohol, dairy, wheat, sulphates or colouring.


Some decorations are not edible (fresh flowers, wires, ribbons, dowels, jewels, boards, etc). You are responsible for advising your guests of this and we will not accept any liability for any loss, damage, illness or injury arising from any such exposure.









 







All postponement requests must be made by email. A new booking date will be subject to our availability. All deposit payments will be transfered to the new booking date, should there be availability.

In the event that Sevim Cakes is not available for the postponed date, our cancellation policy remains. 







 


Postponements





All cancellations must be made in writing. If you have to cancel your order, the booking deposit is non-refundable.

For wedding order cancellations within 4 weeks of your booking date, the full payment (including booking deposit) is non-refundable.

For celebration order cancellations within 1 week of your booking date, the full payment (including booking deposit) is non-refundable.

For wedding orders, the remaining balance of your invoice is due 4 weeks before the date of delivery/pick-up.

For celebration cakes, the remaining balance of your invoice is due 1 week before the date of delivery/pick-up.

We require a non-refundable 30% deposit on all bookings. Your order is not secured until the full booking deposit is received. All quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue. We reserve the right to revise prices after this period.
